A big KUDOS to Bill Amend! I love the foxtrot cartoon and was pretty sad when it went to a once a week format and lost a bit of its luster. However, this week's cartoon has to be one of my favorite as it poked fun at the stupid Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Please check it out!!! Foxtrot DMA Cartoon |

I have had enough with the attitude of the MPAA towards the consumer's right to copy, for archival purposes, their DVDs. This quote from Jack Valenti, head of the MPAA sums up their crappy attitude. He said, "If you buy a DVD you have a copy. If you want a backup copy you buy another one." I had a link to the 321 Studio's Protect Fair Use website. Not any more. The MPAA drove them out of business. Just because they created an application that allowed me to exercise my right to back up DVDs for archival purposes. Please check out the information at the Electronic Frontier Foundation and take action. |

I have had the kosater.com domain for a number of years. If your last name is Kosater, I would be more than happy to have Email forwarding set up for you. Heck we are family. This would mean you could use an email address like
This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
. All email addressed to that would get forwarded to your current ISP (like

). If interested, please let me know. And since we are family, no charge! |
